1.0 PURPOSE
This procedure is established to define and maintain a procedure implementing the
environmental management program and the setting of Environmental objectives and targets
through EAIA Evaluation and HIRARC
2.0 SCOPE
This procedure applies to all IMS for overseeing the effective execution and implementation
of the various objectives and targets as part of the overall integrated management program.

4.0 DEFINITION
MP - Management Program
MR - Management Representative
a) Integrated policy,
b) The legal requirements,
c) Its significant Aspect Impact & safety risk
d) Prevention of pollution
e) Technological option
f) Risk Assessment
g) Financial, operational and business requirements,
h) Views of interested parties and other organizational goals.
6.2 MD/MR/HOD shall decide the targets based on the priority level of the process.
This is to enable the achievement of the objectives within a specified time period.
Whenever possible, the target set shall be specific and measurable.
6.3 MR/HOD shall establish, implement and maintain the management program for
achieving its objectives & target. Whenever possible, the management program
shall consist of the following;
a) Specific activities or measures to be implemented
b) Designation of responsibilities for the implementation of the activity
c) Time frame or schedule of implementation
6.4 MR/HOD shall obtain proper approval from management to ensure resources are,
and will be available to carry out the management program. This will be done in
accordance with the budget process.
6.5 MR/HOD shall collect the performance data to evaluate progress towards meeting
the objective and the target, and reports to management.
6.6 MD shall review the objectives, targets and program minimum once a year during
the management review meeting.
c) Substantial progress in achieving objectives and targets has been made (or has
not been made); and
d) Changes on activities, products, services, processes, facilities or other issues
arise.
