1. The Gondola ride consists of two phases:

a. Phase 1: The first phase takes passengers from the Gulmarg base station to Kongdori Station,
situated at an altitude of approximately 2,600 meters (8,530 feet). This phase provides
stunning views of the surrounding meadows and forests.
b. Phase 2: The second phase of the Gondola continues from Kongdori Station to Apharwat
Peak, reaching an altitude of approximately 3,979 meters (13,054 feet). This phase offers
panoramic views of snow-clad peaks and valleys, making it a popular attraction for both
adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts.
2. The Gondola cabins are spacious and comfortable, accommodating up to eight passengers per cabin.
3. The ride duration varies depending on weather conditions and passenger traffic but typically takes
around 10-15 minutes for each phase.
4. Visitors are advised to dress warmly and carry essentials like sunglasses and sunscreen, especially
during sunny days at higher altitudes.
5. Overall, the Gulmarg Gondola ride provides an unforgettable experience, allowing visitors to marvel at
the beauty of Kashmir's majestic landscapes from a unique vantage point high above the ground.
