OPEN FOR THE FIRST TIME:
Method one:
1. Take out the external battery box and install 4 AA alkaline batteries
(do not reverse the positive and negative poles);

2. Connect the external battery box with the battery installed

to the interface on the right side of the operation panel
to supply power to the operation panel;

3. Put your finger on the fingerprint reader

(factory default user experience mode),
any fingerprint can be turned on", you can turn the handle
clockwise to open the safe/cabinet.

Method Two:

Remove the DUROVAULT trademark "DUROVAULT" on the front of the

safe/cabinet, and you will see a mechanical lock keyhole.
Insert the emergency key and turn it to open the safe.

Special reminder: Do not store the emergency key and external

power box in the safe. They should be placed in a safe place.
You can use unpacking in case of emergency

INSERT BATTERY:

The battery box of the safe/cabinet is located behind the door panel. Push
open the battery box cover, install 4 AA alkaline batteries according to the
correct polarity, start the system, and perform system self-test before operation.

Special reminder: When powered on for the first time, due to differences in
battery performance and the power supply conditions when the lock is turned
off/on, the lock may not be able to be used immediately. If this happens,
wait for more than ten seconds after the system self-test is completed
before using it.
ENTER THE SETTINGS MENU:
1. Open the battery box cover behind the door panel, press the setting
button, and the four indicator lights on the operation panel will flash,
and the numeric button lights will light up, and you will enter the
setting menu:

Enter "1" and "#" for single authentication mode;

"2" and "#" for dual authentication mode;
"3" and "#" to add fingerprints;
"4" and "#" to add password;
"5" and "#" Delete fingerprint user;
"6", "#" delete password.
"7", "#"--WIFI".

2. Set the safe/cabinet. If there is no subsequent operation within

6 seconds, then the system operation timeout, system exit or directly
press the * key to exit the system settings.

REGISTER ADMINISTRATOR FINGERPRINT:

Special reminder: In order to allow consumers to use safes/cabinets safer and

more conveniently, an administrator system has been specially set up. The
first three fingerprints are all administrator fingerprints by default, and they
have the right to add, delete fingerprints and other setting permissions
(Part 1, 2. 3 are administrator fingerprints, 4-29 are user fingerprints).

When the system does not register any fingerprints, press the setting button,
hear a "beep" sound, the four indicator lights on the operation panel flash, the
numeric button lights light up, then press the "3 and #" on the operation panel,
place your finger in the centre of the fingerprint collection window to add the
admin fingerprint. and the panel light displays "OK”, indicating that the first
administrator’s fingerprint entry is successful. Repeat the above operation to
enter the fingerprints of the second and third administrators.
REGISTER USER FINGERPRINT:

Special reminder: After the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd administrator

fingerprints are successfully entered, the 4th to 29th
fingerprints entered subsequently are user fingerprints.

press the setting button, hear a "beep" sound, the four indicator lights
on the operation panel flash, the numeric button lights light up,
then press the "3 and #" on the operation panel, press the administrator
fingerprint on the fingerprint reader, then place the user finger in the
centre of the fingerprint collection windo. and the panel light displays
"OK”, indicating that the User fingerprint entry is successful.

If you need to continue to enter user fingerprints, please repeat

the above operations.

There is no subsequent operation within 6 seconds, and Operation

timed out, system exited."

ADD PASSWORD:

press the setting button, hear a "beep" sound, the four indicator lights
on the operation panel flash, the numeric button lights light up,
then press the "4 and #" on the operation panel, add the , 6 – 12 digit
password, And re-enter again. and the panel light displays "OK”,
indicating that password added is successful.

If there is no subsequent operation within 6 seconds,

"operation timed out, system exited" .

If the passwords entered twice are different,

"Please re-operate" and you need to re-operate.

Suggestion: After setting the password, verify the new password and
then lock the door after confirming it is correct.

SET DOOR OPENING MODE:

1. Single authentication mode: The factory default of the system is

single authentication mode, fingerprint door opening or password
door opening. Press the setting button in the battery box, hear a
"beep" sound, “Press 1 and # for single authentication mode, after
pressing "1,#", and the panel light displays "OK”, indicating that
Setup successful.

2. Dual authentication mode: Press the setting button in the battery

box, hear a "beep" sound, then “press 2 and # for dual authentication
mode", after pressing "2,#", "Setup successful", Enter the dual
authentication mode of fingerprint + password; password + fingerprint;
fingerprint + fingerprint to open the door.

Special reminder: If using dual authentication mode,

fingerprint + fingerprint needs to enter two different fingerprints.

DOOR OPENING OPERATION:

Fingerprint door opening

Put your registered finger directly on the fingerprint collection window.

After the fingerprint recognition is successful, the indicator light
displays "OK". Turn the handle to open the door; if the fingerprint
verification fails, the indicator light displays "X", indicating that
fingerprint pressed is invalid.

Password to open the door

Touch the key area, the keyboard light will light up, enter the correct
6-12 digit password that has been set, press "#", the indicator light will
display "OK", turn the handle to open the door; if the password is
wrong, the indicator light will "X" is displayed, that indicating
Password is invalid.
DELETE FINGERPRINTS AND RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS:

Delete user fingerprint

●Press the setting button in the battery box, hear a "beep" sound "To delete user
fingerprints, please press 5 and #", after pressing "5,#", press the administrator
fingerprint. After entering the administrator's fingerprint, the icon light will be
"OK", and only three administrator fingerprints will be retained.

Delete password

●Press the setting button in the battery box, hear a "beep" sound, then Press 6
and # to delete password. After pressing "6, #", enter the administrator
fingerprints, and the icon light will be "OK".

Delete and clear all fingerprints and passwords (restore factory settings)

●Press and hold the setting button in the battery box for 5-10 seconds, and the
indicator light "OK", all registered fingerprints and Passwords are completely
cleared.

Activate the prying vibration alarm function

●Start alarm method: (The alarm function cannot be started in the empty
fingerprint experience mode and without password)

(1) In the sleep state of the panel, touch the key area with your hand, the
keyboard light will turn on, press and hold the "0" key for 1 second.

(2) When the safe/cabinet is vibrated, the horn alarm will stop automatically
after 30 seconds; during the alarm period, you can enter the correct fingerprint
or enter the correct password, and the alarm function will be released. If you
need to turn it on again, please repeat the previous step.
ALARM FUNCTION FOR INCORRECT FINGERPRINT/
PASSWORD INPUT:
●If you enter incorrect fingerprints 5 times or password incorrectly 3 times in a
row, the alarm will automatically stop after 30 seconds. During the system
self-locking period, users cannot operate.

Password + jamming code

●You can enter 20 digits for the digital password. During the input process,
if 6-12 digits are entered continuously and are the correct password
(regardless of the front, middle, or last), the door can be opened normally.
For example: the correct password is "666666",
then enter: 1532666666398; 66666618973; 62308666666 to open it.

UNDER VOLTAGE REMINDER:

●If you enter incorrect fingerprints 5 times or password incorrectly 3 times in a
row, the alarm will automatically stop after 30 seconds, and the system will lock
itself for 180 seconds. During the system self-locking period,
users cannot operate.

Password + jamming code

When the voltage is ≤ about 4.8V, it will remind you that the battery is low.
The voice prompts "Battery is low, please replace the battery." At the same
time, the icon under voltage light is on. Please replace the battery in time
(please use alkaline batteries).

EMERGENCY KEY OPENING:

When the electronic system fails, the password is forgotten, or the fingerprint
is invalid, remove the DUROVAULT trademark "DUROVAULT" from the
front of the door panel, and a mechanical lock keyhole will be visible.
Insert the emergency key and turn it to open the safe.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:

1. Do not place the user manual, emergency key and external power box in the
. box. They should be stored in other safe places.

2. If the product is not used for a long time, the battery should be removed to
prevent leakage from damaging the electronic system.

3. It is recommended to install on solid walls/load-bearing walls and other

objects. Do not install on walls that can be opened.

4. Do not store excess cash and valuables when no one is on duty or there is no
remote alarm device.

5. The safe/cabinet should be placed on the bottom or on a stable partition

with a load-bearing capacity greater than 100kg.

WiFi NETWORK CONFIGURATION:

1. Search for "Smart Life APP" in the mobile application and install it; open the
Smart program and register. After successful registration, select Add Device,
. then select the safe WIFI in the camera/lock; enter the WIFI name and
password, and do not click Next.

2. Press the button on the power box behind the door, press the number "7 and
#" to configure the WiFi network; at this time, the WiFi signal light on the
panel flashes, prompting you to enter WiFi distribution mode.

3. This is the next step of clicking on the mobile phone network configuration.
Follow the prompts to configure the smart Life WiFi network. After a few
seconds, the Smart Life program shows that the network configuration is
successful. Click OK and the program will enter the safe operation interface.
4. Introduction to the remote opening function; touch the digital area of the
panel to wake up the panel and enter "#00#". The system sends a remote
opening request to the Smart Life mobile app. After receiving the opening
request, the Smart Life app on the mobile phone clicks Agree,
and the safe can be opened.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (OPTIONAL):

.There are 2 fixed mounting holes on the back panel of the safe/cabinet.
You need to align the screwdriver with the holes and poke them from the
inside. Align the mounting holes with the wall and use a 12mm or 14mm
impact drill to drill the holes. Then use expansion screws to secure the safe.
/The cabinet is fixed on the wall for safety precautions.

Note: (It is recommended to install on solid walls/load-bearing walls, etc. Do not install on walls that can be opened )
