Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O)

I. INTRODUCTION
The DepEd Order No. 72, series 2003 mandates the Establishment of the Youth for Environment in Schools
Organization (YES-O) in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). Creating
this organization in every school was has to be done to focus on the PPAs that address the needs of the
environment as a whole.
On this note, Lavides ES joined in the establishment of the set of YES-O officers who leads in the
implementation of several programs, projects and activities launched in the school with the guidance of the
teacher or the designated YES-O Adviser. Developed plan and make necessary strategies to acheived the targets
or goals of the organization.

II. OBJECTIVES
Terminal Objective:
To promote backyard gardening at home and embrace the value of reforestation through tree planting
activity in the community.

Enabling Objectives:
 To elect set of officers that will organize and lead the organization;
 To conduct various PPAs such as Gulayan ng Mag-aaral sa Tahanan and the tree planting activity;
 To recognize parents and learners’ participation in the implementation of the PPAs;

IV. EVALUATION
The school measures the level of performance of the school head, teachers, learners and school by conducting
