Event Name: Project Competition

Rules and Regulations:


1. Eligibility: The competition is open to all registered students pursuing: Diploma / UG
/ PG / Arts & Science of any institute/university.
2. Project Types: Projects can belong to any category.
3. Team Size: A team can consist of 1 to 4 members. All team members must be from the
same institute/university.
4. Project Submission: Participants must submit project via GitHub (public repository)
or Google Drive (shared folder) link to the following email id:
sypcomp1092@gmail.com. The email subject should include project name and body
should contain a detailed project prototype/code link, project report and PPT.
5. Project Setup: A working prototype (if applicable) or demonstration must be presented
on the day of the competition.
6. Original Work: The project must be the original work of the team. Any form of
plagiarism will lead to strict action.
7. Time Limit: The presentation should not exceed 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes
for Q&A from the judges.
8. Judging Panel: The competition will be judged by a panel of faculty members and
industry experts.
Judging Criteria:
1. Creativity & Originality - 20 Marks: Projects will be evaluated based on their novelty,
innovation, and unique approach to solving a problem or creating something new.
2. Technical Execution - 30 Marks: The overall quality, feasibility, and technical
implementation of the project, including any working prototypes, software, or models.
3. Impact & Relevance - 20 Marks: How the project addresses real-world issues, its
potential to make a positive impact, and its relevance to current trends or future
developments.
4. Presentation & Communication - 20 mark: The ability to present the project effectively,
explain complex concepts clearly, and engage the audience and judges with a well-
structured presentation.
5. Teamwork & Collaboration - 10 marks: The demonstration of effective teamwork and
how well the team collaborated in executing the project, including shared
responsibilities and synergy.
