UNIVERSITY PROJECTS
Sample Individual Projects
Budget Analysis Tool for Tertiary Student and Graduates: – Created a web application that automates excel
data and calculations into RDBMS to make data retrieval and manipulations easier. The application used
Web, ASP.Net and C# with SQL Server as the back end to make it more powerful.
Ultrasonic Guiding Device for the Blind: The device used ultrasonic transmitters and receivers aided with the 8031
Intel processor to perform a desired algorithm. The program was written in assembly language and stored in an
external EPROM chip. The programme provided a clear path for the user by producing an audible signal.
1 CV 2019
Sample Group Projects
Digital Signal Processing: Musical sound processing project: project aimed to design filters to generate single
echo, multiple echoes or infinite number of echoes for the original direct sound (input of the filter). The
project included simulations for designing comb filters, teeth filters, first order filters and shelving filters,
second order filters and equalizers and high order equalizers.
High Risk Client Tracking System: Designed an application that attaches a tracking code to high risk clients or
offenders that tracks data in existing system as well as trawling for activity relating to the client or offender in other
systems. The application uses ASP.NET, SQL Server, Java and My SQL.
