Download and Install the GlobalProtect App for Windows
STEP 1 | Log in to the GlobalProtect portal.

1. Launch a web browser and go to the following URL:

https://<portal IP address or FQDN>
Example: https://callidus.gpcloudservice.com

2. On the portal login page, enter your Name (username) and Password, and then click LOG IN.
Example: <externaluser>@calliduscloud.onmicrosoft.com

STEP 2 | Navigate to the app download page

Select GlobalProtect Agent to open the download page

STEP 3 | Download and install the app.

1. To begin the download, click the software link that corresponds to the operating system running
on your computer.

2. Open the software installation file.

3. When prompted, Run the software.
4. When prompted again, Run the GlobalProtect Setup Wizard

Disconnect the GlobalProtect App for Windows
1. Launch the GlobalProtect app by clicking the GlobalProtect system tray icon. The status
panel opens.
2. Select Disconnect.

Uninstall the GlobalProtect App for Windows
STEP 1 | Select Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.

STEP 2 | Select GlobalProtect from the list, and then click Uninstall

STEP 3 | When prompted to continue with the uninstall, click Yes.

Download and Install the GlobalProtect App for macOS
STEP 1 | Log in to the GlobalProtect portal.

1. Launch a web browser and go to the following URL:

https://<portal IP address or FQDN>
Example: https://callidus.gpcloudservice.com

2. On the portal login page, enter your Name (username) and Password, and then click LOG IN.
Example: <externaluser>@calliduscloud.onmicrosoft.com

STEP 2 | Navigate to the app download page

Select GlobalProtect Agent to open the download page

STEP 3 | Download and install the app.

1. To begin the download, click the software link that corresponds to the operating system running
on your computer.

2. When prompted, Run the software.

3. When prompted again, Run the GlobalProtect Installer

STEP 4 | Complete the GlobalProtect app setup using the GlobalProtect Installer.

1. From the GlobalProtect Installer, click Continue.

2. On the Destination Select screen, select the installation folder for the GlobalProtect app,
and then click Continue.

 3. On the Installation Type screen, select the GlobalProtect installation package check box.
Click continue.

4. Click Install to confirm that you want to install GlobalProtect.

5. When prompted, enter your User Name and Password, and then click Install Software to
begin the installation.
6. After installation is complete, Close the installer.

Import Root Certificates for MacOS
STEP 1 | Download the certificate

Click on the link (Root Certs) to get to where certificates are located as shown as below. Then, download
the certificates.

STEP 2 | Import the certificates

1. Open finder. Then, go to Application > Utilities.

 2. Double click on “Keychain Access”
Select “System Keychain” or “login”, and drag the certificates to keychain App.

3. Trust the certificate

Navigate to app “keychain access” and double click on each certificate. Select “Always Trust”

4. Repeat the same actions on remaining certificates.

1. Launch the GlobalProtect app by clicking the GlobalProtect system tray icon. The status panel
opens.
2. Select Disconnect

Uninstall the GlobalProtect App for macOS

STEP 1 | Log in to the GlobalProtect portal.

1. Launch a web browser and go to the following URL:

STEP 4 | Uninstall GlobalProtect.

1. From the GlobalProtect Installer, click Continue.

2. On the Destination Select screen, click Continue.

3. On the Installation Type screen, select the Uninstall GlobalProtect check box, and then click
Continue.

 4. Click Install to confirm that you want to remove the GlobalProtect app.
5. When prompted, enter your User Name and Password, and then click Install Software to
uninstall GlobalProtect.

STEP 5 | Confirm that the GlobalProtect app is no longer installed.

A message pops up, confirming that the Uninstall GlobalProtect package was successfully installed. This
confirmation indicates that the GlobalProtect app has been removed from your endpoint.

Setup GlobalProtect
STEP 1 | Log in to GlobalProtect

1. If you are logging in to the endpoint for the first time, the GlobalProtect app displays a friendly,
welcome page upon successful login. Click Get Started.

2. Launch the GlobalProtect app by clicking the system tray icon. The status panel opens.
Then, click on the “menu” then click on “Settings.”

STEP 2 | Set up Callidus portal

1. Click on “Connections” tab, then click on “+” sign.

2. Enter Callidus portal (callidus.gpcloudservice.com) in “Manage Portals”.

Then, close the window.

Connect to Callidus network
1. Select callidus portal (callidus.gpcloudservice.com) from drop-down list.
Then click on “Connect”.

2. Login with users from Callidus domain ( calliduscloud.onmicrosoft.com ).

Example: <externaluser>@calliduscloud.onmicrosoft.com

 3. Then follow the MFA process.

4. Authentication Complete will be appeared.

 5. Now VPN is successfully connected.

6. A specific gateway can be chosen using the gateway search field.

Verify that you are now connected to Callidus Network
Open GlobalProtect from system tray.
Then, click on “setting” to check the status.

Requirement of using Firefox
STEP 1 | Download the certificate

Click on the link (Root Certs) to get to where certificates are located as shown as below. Then, download
the certificates.

STEP 2 | Import the certificate

In Firefox, certs are not allowed to identify websites and mail users, so you need to enable that option
manually.

1. Go to Firefox settings and search for Certificates, then click on View Certificates

3. Find the Callidus Software Singapore Pt Forward Trust CA certificate that you have
importedmanually and click on Edit Trust…

 4. Repeat the steps for the second Callidus Software certificate, and confirm.
