Brian McCabe is running as an independent candidate to represent Denny and Banknock at the Falkirk Council. He has been campaigning for over 2 years for regeneration of Denny town center with limited success due to neglect by the council. The communities of Allandale and Banknock have also suffered from poor road infrastructure planning and their needs being ignored. If elected, McCabe pledges to honestly, integrity, and transparently advocate for the needs of the community at every opportunity, including pushing for investment in infrastructure and the long-planned Denny Eastern Access Road.

STRONGER ~ TOGETHER

denny & banknock

Lets build Our future, while recognising our past.

Dunipace - Banknock - Allandale - Longcroft - Denny

I have been campaigning for Denny town centre regeneration for over 2 years now but have to admit a limited level of success. This comes down to a palpable mix of neglect by the current Council administration, as well as inertia on behalf of council officers tasked with progressing the project. This is a long term problem. Allandale & Banknock have also suffered. Existing road systems subject to thoughtless planning decisions and the needs & desires of local towns & villages continually ignored.

THE FUTURE
For over 30 years, Banknock, Longcroft, Allandale, Dennyloanhead, Denny and Dunipace together, nothing have all suffered at the hands of a nothing west bridges of the 3 bridges attitude of this remote and distant Council. That must change! With your affirmation & support, I believe that we can all have a future to be proud of. Should you honour me with the opportunity to represent YOU and our community at council level, I will do my very best to speak with Honesty, Integrity & Transparency.

..... Your Independent Voice

My solemn promise, is to keep pushing

forward the need for real, tangible investment in infrastructure for Denny & Banknocks needs at each & every opportunity, at both local and national level.

CENTURY 21st CENTUR Y LIVING

Lets move forward with a new and exciting vision for our local communities that our children and our childrens children can be proud of. Sincerely,

Disgraceful repairs!

WHY WERE IN THIS MESS

Nothing has surprised me regarding this current administrations incompetence.
February 2010 - a demand by Denny that Falkirk initiate a Plan B. Alex Waddell voted it down. (Hes the chair of the Denny Development Group!) Henry Boot - expected to submit a planning application by : 07 Didnt happen. Didnt happen! 2 0 07 2009 Still didnt happen!! 2011(Sept)Henry Boot dumped! 2011 2011(Sept) Wast asted Year ears! 2005-11 Nothing happened at all. 2012 6 Wast ed Year s! May 2011 - tenders go out for demolition of Blocks A & D. Falkirk Council fail to acquire Block A properties, only half the demolition goes ahead! 6 years after the project started! March 2011 - Imminent construction of a roundabout for the DEAR project. Imminent Imminent Alex Waddell, Chair of the Denny Development Group. - Still no sign of it. August 2011 - Denny Library, already suffering closure over 2 floors. Hours are 201 trimmed as a cost-cutting exercise with scant regard to the community. 2011- 2012 - Airmiles Joyce, drink driving shame; convicted of assault; thrown out of the Labour Party. But Labour are unable to get rid of him. What does that tell tell . you of how efficient Falkirk Labour are? Why was he foisted upon us in the first place? 6 years and a rejected plan on the table for Denny town centre regeneration. No sign of DEAR but ever increasing traffic gridlock throughout the Ward. DEAR, Huge housing development with NO supporting infrastructure. The relentless increase in windfarm development with inadequate controls. Ensure you vote in someone who is not afraid to fight on your behalf.
