SYLLABUS
Faculty : Languages and Arts Department : English Education and Literature Course : Advanced Reading Course Code : BIN204 Credits : 2 (two) Semester :4 Standard of Competence : Students are able to improve their advanced reading skills by mastering standardized reading materials in order to deal with academic purposes. These are informational subjects that are studied in an American University such as American history, literature, art, architecture, geology, geography, and astronomy and also texts taken from magazines, journals, books, and newspapers and written for a non-specialist audience. Basic Competence 1. Students are able to develop and strenghten advanced reading skills both inside and outside the classroom, in order to improve and refine their reading skills for academic purposes which involve the information given in the reading passages. 2.
