ABOUT US
Dr. AIT established in 1980 by late sir M.H Jayaprakash Narayan, is a Government Aided Engineering Institute located along outer ring road, Bangalore-560056. The Institute offers U G courses in 10 branches of engineering apart from PG courses and has 10 research centers. Dr. AIT is an autonomous college under VTU. The student strength of the institute is over 3500 and has a beautiful campus sprawling over 23 Acres of land. The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1980. The department came under grant-in-aid scheme of the Government of Karnataka in 1992. The department has a state of the art research facility (Estd 2008) and caters the academic needs of not only students but also of the faculty members to conduct research activities to acquire doctorate degree as well as to aid consultancy. The department is accredited under NBA. The department has well qualified faculty. The department is offering B.E course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and P.G course in Power Electronics.

CROSS WIRED
Date: 05-05-2012 Time : 2:00PM Venue: Class-1 RULES: 1) The event consists of three rounds, the first of which is written test on the basics of electrical networks. It contains 20 questions and the duration of test is 20mins. The qualifying teams will enter the second round. 2) The second round is the heart of the event. The qualified teams are given a complex electrical network which has to be optimized. The teams which simplify the given network in minimum time and uses minimum number of elements qualify for the final round. 3) The final round decides the winner of the event. In this round the network simplified in the previous round has to be rigged up on bread board. The team which completes the working model in the shortest time wins. 4) Each team can have a maximum of 3 members.
