Abstract
• This project is designed for college
students to get clarify their doubts by
posting their queries.
• The queries posted by the students are
handled by the administrator.
• The administrator answers the queries
posted by students.
Introduction
Student’s information is obtained from the registration form .

The online query system is advance system that can help to
students . In this application they can be ask their difficulties .
The query can be visible to faculty . In this system we are
providing facility to those students that they can get immediate
reply from respective staff . All the data is stored securely on
database management and ensures highest possible level of
security . Online query system is designed to help colleges from
management of student query .
ADVANTAGES
 Saves the time and energy of both

teachers and students .
 Students can get the doubts solved easily
with the help of the files uploaded by the
faculty .
 By simply uploading the notes the
manual work can be reduces .
DISADVANTAGES
 Students, when present in college campus find it easy

to approach the respective teachers for the
clarification of the doubts.
 But when they are not present at the college they find it
difficult to meet the teaching staff. Hence, their doubts
remain unclarified.
 Also, during vacations the students face problems
because the teachers are usually in their leave.
Objective of the Project
 The primary goal of the query handling

system is to provide an environment that is
both convenient and efficient for the
students .
 It also provides the safety to the information
stored, despite system crashes or attempts of
unauthorized access.
Feasibility Study
 An important outcome of preliminary investigation is

the determination that system required is feasible.
 Since data is voluminous and involves a lot of overhead.
 Therefore it is best activity for computerization.
 The proposed system is technically feasible since the
equipment , software technology are well suitable for the
proposed system.

 Data Flow Diagram (DFD) is a graphical

representation of the flow of data in the information
system .
 A data flow diagram can also be used for the
visualization of Data Processing .
 DFD describes the processes that are involved in a
system to transfer data from the input to the file storage

SYSTEM HAS SHOWN THAT WHILE
UNIVERSITIES ARE NOT
SIGNIFICANTLY UTILIZING CAPTURED
LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
DATA TO MAKE INFORMED DECISION,
IT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME
AN ADDITIONAL RESOURCE THAT
CAN BE USED TO INFORM AND
IMPROVE STUDENT MANAGEMENT.
Conclusion
• The new system of QUERY HANDLING has been
implemented.
• The present system has been integrated with the already
existing.
• The database was put into the MYSQL server .This was
connected by JDBC.
• The database is accessible through internet on any
geographic location.
• This system has been found to meet the requirements of
the students/indenters and also very satisfactory.
It has the potential to become an additional resource that can be used
to inform and improve student management . In future we can also
provide study material, online test papers, students for various
descriptive and competitive exams in India . Online query system,
tracks all the difficulties of a student from the day one to the end of
his course which can be used for all reporting purpose, tracking
enrollment, progress in the course, completed semester’s years, final
exam query and all these will be available for future reference too .
