Ranked Renewable Term (Non-Tenure Track) Assistant Professor of Finance

Job Description & Qualification

The Finance Division of the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma, invites applications for a full-time Ranked Renewable Term Assistant Professor of Finance position. To be considered for this position, all candidates must have the Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related discipline from a university business program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and an extensive record of teaching excellence, especially in asset valuation, investments, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate would also hold the CFA charter. A research record and an interest in maintaining a high-quality research program (including in pedagogical research), while not required for appointment, will be a significant added advantage. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to provide leadership for the Division’s asset management track and related course offerings, student clubs and groups, as well as mentoring students in valuation related competitions such as the CFA Investment Research Challenge. Initial appointments are typically for three years and ranked renewable term faculty who meet the appropriate qualification requirements are eligible to be considered for promotion in rank. Salary and benefits will be highly competitive.
