SMU’s Cox School of Business invites applications for non-tenure track full-time position # 54058 in the Energy and Sustainability area in the Finance Department. Faculty will be associated with Maguire Energy Institute and are expected to participate in the Institute’s programs and initiatives, participate in university service and to deliver high-quality instruction in Energy and Sustainability courses across the Cox School’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, which include online teaching. The position will begin in Fall 2025.
Minimum qualifications: Graduate degrees in Finance, or a related field such as Economics and Accounting; with interest in teaching Energy and Sustainability courses at a university level.
Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. in Finance, Accounting or Economics; established record of high-quality teaching at a university level in Energy and Sustainability area; in-person and online teaching experience; demonstrated contributions to the field or industry.
