Job Description & Qualification

The Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies at The University of Alabama invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of instructor beginning August 16, 2025. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate- and graduate-level real estate courses and leadership in developing our real estate programs, as well as performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University.

This is a non-tenure earning position renewable for three-year periods at the discretion of the University with no promise of continued employment beyond any three-year contract period. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in real estate, finance, economics or a closely related field. Applicants working towards the completion of their doctoral degree will be considered for a one year visiting appointment.
