Chaired Full Professor of Finance
Job Description & Qualification
The University of Florida, Warrington College of Business, is seeking to hire a Full Professor of Finance to hold the Bank of America Chair. The candidate is expected to take an active role in enhancing the department and college’s research environment. This includes mentoring doctoral students. Teaching responsibilities would primarily be at the graduate school level with an attractive teaching load.
Ideal Candidate has a record of impactful and highly cited research in top-tier finance and economics journals over a sustained period. The expectation is that the candidate has an active current research agenda, and that the candidate has recognition as a top-flight scholar. The position requires a Ph.D. in finance or a closely related area and teaching experience at the graduate level.
Final candidate will be required to provide official transcript to the hiring department upon hire. A transcript will not be considered "official" if a designation of "Issued to Student" is visible. Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), which can be found at http://www.naces.org/.
