BEWARE!! You NEED TWO switch controllers to play this game. You HAVE to use both the + and - controller for one person. Other than that, it’s a super fun game! Challenging and has its silly moments. Super heartfelt and great for couples.

game design is unreasonable

The game itself is pretty fun, but if you’re planning on using the online servers to play with a friend, don’t bother wasting your money. I’ve wasted hours trying to fix a generic error that pops up when connecting to EA servers. As far as I can tell it’s a common issue with people trying to play online and EA has known about it for years and wont fix it. The only way to play this game reliably is locally.

You need to have hand held controllers to play the game

Such a good game! My husband and I played this together over the course of a few months, and by the time we finished it it felt like we had just watched a great movie. The end-of-level battles can take a few tries to get the hang of, but once you do it's great (and it's much easier the 2nd time around). The story is really sweet, the animation is fantastic, and overall the concept is just so creative and unique. Love it!

If you’re looking for a 2 player game- this is it! It’s fun and you need to use your brain. Everything is unique- it’s a long game. My fiance and I were both saying it’s a favorite!

I love that it requires two people to play this game! Occasionally, when our babies are put to bed my husband and I like to play. It’s nice because it requires you guys to communicate, have patience, and remember to have fun.

This game is so much fun! It brings you together as a couple because you have to work together to get through the game

My daughter and I absolutely love this game! It’s an adventure RPG and puzzle game rolled into 1. It is amazing! The game play is awesome! We play for about an hour a day and took us about 3 weeks to complete. We will probably switch roles and play again! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Played as a couple and I will say during moments I thought we might get divorced (kidding!). There were some parts that I struggled with as the less active game player, but it was still fun. The ending was just meh though.

Great game! Bought for my sister and I to play long distance and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to play this game together. It definitely challenged us. There's also minigames on each level that are fun and competitive and you can go back and play any minigame you want from the main menu. Definitely recommend as a good bonding experience.

I personally played on PS5, but gave this as a gift. Best co-op game in a long time! The story is whatever, but gameplay is so fun! You also get different powerups each level so it doesn't get stale.

I saw a bad review saying the game is "demonizing divorce" and it gets "impossibly hard" early on. The game is about a divorcing couple who plan on going through the act but haven't thought that their problems could actually be solved if they paid attention to the details in each others lives and bothered to communicate. The couple just bicker and never took the time to communicate nor fully took the time to respect each other's passions and interest. The point isn't to "demonize marriage;" it is that sometimes some problems are not as bad they seem if the time is taken to communicate and embrace and analyze the problem. Also, I am not sure why someone would buy a game without reading up on it? Implusive purchases, impulsive decisions in general will lead to disappointment. As for difficulty, if you have played video games for awhile, it is not really difficult. It is a mixture of several genres, like third person puzzler/platformer, shooters, raceing games, fighting games, and more. my significant other bought the game and I played it with her. She is not at all accustomed to gaming, nor skillful at games, especially with a controller. She didn't get to play video games growing up. We managed to beat the game despite her constant struggling, and she thoroughly enjoyed the game and would play it again. She came out of the game with improvement on her overall hand-eye coordination and reaction time, evident in other games in which she struggled more in before. I absolutely had no issues with controls, nor did I find the game really challenging. I was able to solve most puzzles and challenges before my significant other even got time to think about them. I don't know if the person who left a poor review because of difficulty is a child, or simply struggles with video games, because as mentioned, my SO is like a child in video games; she made it to the end with me. Maybe they played alone, but the game is meant to be played with another person to get the most enjoyment. I had to leave this review, because negative review I saw does not do the game justice, and lack of skills in gaming is the players fault, not the game, as the game really isn't that difficult. Unjust, non-constructive reviews taint products with unwarranted reputations, and this is a great game to buy and play with someone. It has a good message to it too. I think the negative reviewer took it personal, as maybe they divorced and thought the game was attacking them, which eas not the intention of the game

Work as a team. It's like therapy in a game

Worst game I have ever played. The movements are difficult to pick up and not at all intuitive. The concept is great but the execution is trash. The game becomes almost impossibly difficult very early on. If you want to experience ridiculous frustration over a stupid game, this is the one to get. Also, there was no warning or indication that this game is about divorce. You’re playing a couple that is clearly unhappy who have decided to divorce, and the goal is to learn to work together, so that you can learn how to be a better couple and not get divorced. It demonizes divorce and lays a heavy guilt trip on divorced parents in particular. This game is trash and I wish I could get a refund.

Game is great but you get half way through and it makes you download something else… why buy a physical copy of you still have to download… ridiculous!

This is an absolutely amazing game, a must play. I originally played it on Xbox and have purchased it again on Nintendo switch. So excited to see what this studio has lined up next.
