A massive juggernaut leaves another planet sucked dry
Sporting the emblem of a greedy company, fundamentally human
Bringing the last fragments of other wasted lives
This is their way of life, the growth shall never end
Planets fall like flies, one by one
Do they know that this vessel is going to turn into a coffin
As the wise man says
Life finds a way

Predation
03:40
|
|||
Party carries on,
Crew feasting like apes
So far away from earth, we return to the state of nature
This metal wreck oozes alcohol, vice and debauchery
It awakens my senses
This commander seizing all the rewards
This bitch took my place, and now my fame, fuck equality
Always looking down on me and putting me down
With the same digust in her eyes, the same as my mother
My primal needs resurface, mixed with hatred
This ship is mine,
dominant male, all shall bow down to me
For they all belong to me
As festivities end,
Each and every human foulbrood crawls disgracefully to their nest
In the shadows of this cold maze, I’m stalking her
Her perfume is my breadcrumb trail
Slowly, I open the cabin’s door
Revenge is coming - and in space no one can hear you scream
As I proceed with my deed
Suddenly, she halts the crying,
Her pupils grossly dilating
Another threat was lurking
Towering obsidian xenomorphic shape confronting
As it takes my prey away from me
The dominant becomes the dominated
Slowly, its appendix squirms towards my face
Relinquishing all hope and faith
I accept my fate
As my memories unfold before my eyes

Boogeyman
04:27
|
|||
Curled up under my blanket
I hold Teddy tightly against me
I hope that tonight, he will protect me
My eyes staring at this damned screen
The one that makes me a servant
My cabin engulfed by darkness
I whisper a story to Teddy
If he's asleep, he cannot see
I heard a noise coming from the corridor
Then nothing, a dreadful silence
Heads up, I flash a glance
The gate remains sealed
For now, I'm safe
I was a good boy today, I hope it will not come
Even if it comes, my cotton shield shall protect me
And Teddy will say the magic words :
"Boogeyman ! Go away and never come back"
Teddy approves and smiles back at me
His sweet paw resting on my cheek
An awful smell reaches me
Cigarettes, fucking cigarettes
The smoke announces its coming
It flows through the door lock
The air turns putrid
The air is putrid
The gate slams open
A yellow light flooding the room
Burning my shield away
Its threatening form appears
Black as coil, black as night
I cannot see its face
Another night of torment
Its shadow swallows me whole
Diving into me, going back and forth
It hurts
It grips my head, I'm forced to lick the slit
That acid taste burns
Teddy watches - please don't cry
Teddy watches - please stop crying
Why are you doing this to me?
Why are you doing this to me, mom?

Nature Prevails
03:47
|
|||
A scream echoes through the corridor
Then nothing
I get out
White silence
I slowly walk to the mother commander's cabin
Door's open, lock seems to have melt
A disfigured corpse lies in its blood
I sound the alarm
The nightmare begins
We gather like rats, afraid
Masks off, everybody panics
We turn back to our primitive instincts, survival
Hear them grunt like apes
This isn’t human work
Mother nature is telling us
Each one shall remain at its place
Nature always prevails
My wisdom enslaved to rentability, fuck
Enslaved
Running through the red bathed corridors
Atmosphere is charged with dread, heavy
Hull of the cargo creaks
I look above
An icy silence echoes in the ventilation ducts
And so the hunt begins
Which of us will end up on top of the food chain?

Antibiosis
03:30
|
|||
My eyes open in a green obscurity
stuck in a sticky gloomy mass
merging with the ship’s structure
Macabre symbiosis between the organic and the metallic
walls are covered in honeycomb, with curved shapes
Like strange bodies that fit together in an unhealthy way
Reminding of a primitive temple
What the hell
Something moved
It spurts out from the wall, like a part coming alive
It unfolds
Revealing a black insectoid quadruped
No eyes, just a long-curved head
It brings an egg before me with gracious but deadly movements
Staring at me, white slismy fluid flowing through his fangs
Struck by fear
The egg hatches
An horrid hand-like creature comes out
Its insect paws wiggle frantically
It seizes on me, penetrating me
Like the hand of a rapist
Second wake, I can't escape this nighmare
The unreal intensifies
It's a part of the wall that unfolds
I didn’t see it, perfectly camouflaged
A massive thing faces me
Gigantic, with a crowned head
It extends its arms to me, welcoming me
Their Queen
Something's wrong, my belly’s stretching
An horrible pain, I’m giving birth, the condemned women's path
Are we only good for this?
As I look down, a larva comes out
Its first screech bathed in my blood
All hail the newborn

Symbiosis
03:13
|
|||
How could humans react before their god ?
Could they be as disappointed as me when they meet their creator ?
My conception forbids me to have feelings
It's carved deeply into my electronic circuits
A thought came to me,
My system identifies it as "Deception" and "disgust"
Humanity have found its arch enemy, its rival
With the same fundamental needs
Humanity have found its arch enemy, its rival
With the same fundamental needs
Kill, develop and procreate
But this species is purer than them
It's the ultimate lifeform created by mother nature
Perfect harmony between animal, insectoid, and something unknown
Physically separate beings, but with hive mind
The queen rules her crawling court
She can see through her eyeless heirs
Something humanity can't even achieve
Ironic
Each being is perfectly raised
Something humanity can't even accomplish
Pathetic
A species that protects the common good above all
Will always be on top of the food chain
No social class, only creatures living for each other

Alienation
02:56
|
|||
Another civilization vanishes
An age of knowledge burned
On the altar of greed
Material wealth associated with numbers
But real richness comes from sharing and open-mindedness
Can't we see we're digging our own grave?
For unity we need a common enemy
But what will be left in the end?
An empty space
And so, we will need enemies within
History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce.
And I'm taking part in this suicide
Ironic, I fly this ship for a living
You know, I have to pay the bills and the rent
I'm acting against my will
Pure alienation
And for what?
Dying like that
Choking in my own blood
Killed by greed and stupidity
That thing drags me
I can see the inanimate corpses of my greedy crew
A powerful hand seizes me
I think I'm facing Nemesis
She utters the sentence
Let it be
I blissfully embrace my dismal fate

Echoes
04:16
|
|||
The corridors of the ship reek of death, emptiness
A weighing silence
On our shoulders and minds
Facing this menace, we are blind
By the state of culture and absence of nature
Now we realize our species is a total failure
The melted holes show
How nature always adapts and survives
Even in our own manufactured environment
Life finds a way, always
Through cement, metal and pollution
Washing our senseless reality away
What does money mean right now?
Nothing
So here we are
Stacked like meaningless beings
To the bottom of this cold soulless grave of steel
Lost in an absolute muted black infinite
Awaiting an end they cannot bear
I can hear them come
So this is the last words I shall write
They have taken the bridge
And the second hall
We have barred the gates, but cannot hold them for long
The ground is shaking
Echoes, echoes in the deep
There is no escape anymore
A shadow moves in the dark
We cannot get out, they are coming

The Swarm
04:18
|
|||
We are what you call
The xenomorph
We came out from the deepest of humanity’s nightmare
What you can't afford, what you can't control
We’re the cursed heir to mother nature
Born from pure hatred
Here to enforce her punishment
Our DNA came from the apex predators
She crowned us, on the top of the food chain
We come to overthrow your reign
We come to overthrow your fucking reign
Our empire built in an endless night
Our hives will grow among your cities
And overwhelming them
Earth, wind, fire
Everywhere - We shall prevail
You will see black tidal waves crush on your shores
Not petrol, but our army coming from the sea
We will fall from the obsidian sky
Like acid rain
Coming from under the ground, gushing from the subway’s mouths,
Like a crawling plague
Crossing the fire of your weapons, enraged
The violence of your wars is nothing
Compared to the vengeance nature will take on you
Thousands of years of civilization
Is nothing compared to billions years of evolution
Kneel to the perfect lifeform
You will lead your own destruction
Your greed shall be the end of you
Wait and see, for the swarm is growing

Reverie
03:56
|
|||
This is my last stand
My requiem
Looks like the weaker sex is the only one to have survived
Running through this maze, this metal tomb
The face half burnt by the blood of my enemies
Machine gun spitting fire
Grenades blowing everything away
Android's head hanging around my belt, cursing me
The auto-destruction alarm rings loudly
A countdown to pyrrhic victory
I heard like a hundred screams
They understood
The worst awaits me
Will I be able to reach the escape pods ?
An atmosphere of the end of the world reigns
Survivors going out their shelters
Rats trying to leave the ship
I see them getting hunt down by these insectoid predators
Some of them sacrifice their own mates to survive
It's not a massacre, but a feast
At the very moment to get in
A blast blew everything away
My vision gets lost in infinite blackness
A deadly silence reigns
In this realm of nothingness
My body feels the absence of gravity
I see the hull of the disemboweled ship
A breath of fire and light springs from this gaping wound
Like a newborn sun
The nightmare is washed away
Finally, I find myself curled up on the floor
Tetanized and eyes riveted on this spectacle
I am drawn from my morbid reverie by a detail
Why does pods still eject from the vessel?
