Towards the Future of Human Cortical Organoid Research: Bridging Dynamical Systems with AI

At the crux of our evolving research trajectory is the intention to venture deeply into human cortical organoid experimentation. Our foundation lies in the rigorous analysis of EEG data. We've unearthed profound insights into the dynamical systems, chaos theory, and nonlinear dynamics that underpin these EEG signals. Our nuanced exploration has decoded the intricate patterns and diversions that are reflective of complex neural activities.

Building on this EEG data foundation, our Synthetic Biological Interface (SBI) project team is poised to embark on pioneering endeavors. One of our most anticipated projects involves the prospective implantation of human cortical organoids into neonatal rats. This fusion is designed to yield a synergistic rat-human hybrid brain system. Beyond this, we're conceptualizing a bacteria+organoid neural interface. By leveraging the unique electrical signaling properties of bacteria's natural nanowires and pili, in tandem with the organoid's extracellular matrix, we foresee a potent biological confluence. Augmented by the precision of optogenetics, our vision promises to challenge existing paradigms of neurobiological interfacing.
