EAS MembersMembersYou need to be logged in as EAS member to see the EAS membership directory.ApplyThe European Astronomical Society (EAS) promotes and advances astronomy in Europe. Professional astronomers consist our main body of individual members, including PhD students. However, the EAS is open to applications by non-professional astronomers that work actively toward the goals of the EAS; for example, professionals working in a planetarium, museum are welcome. Feel free to contact the EAS office if you wish to clarify your eligibility. By becoming a member, you will strengthen the voice of European astronomy, support the various EAS activities and enjoy many benefits. Members of Affiliated Societies (see list of Affiliated Societies) should not apply directly to EAS but should contact their Affiliated Society and indicate their interest in joining EAS. The Affiliated Societies will transmit lists on a regular basis. Alternatively, you can become a paying EAS Individual member and fill the form. You can also change your EAS login password at any time. ClassesThe Individual Membership of the Society consists of Ordinary Members, Junior Members, and Honorary Members. Members of Affiliated Societies are also categorized as Ordinary or Junior Members, and share the same rights as the Individual Members. The EAS has also Organisational Members.

FeesMembership FeesStarting in 2019, there is one single fee of € 40 for all individual membership classes. Members of Affiliated Societies for which we have received their names and details have free EAS membership. If you think that you can benefit from free EAS membership based on your membership in Affiliated Society, please contact the EAS Office for clarification. Otherwise, you are welcome to apply for EAS membership as paying individual member.
