Tech giant Sony is in talks to acquire Japanese media company Kadokawa. Kadokawa is the company behind the popular game Elden Ring. Sony already owns a small percentage of Kadokawa and its subsidiary FromSoftware. FromSoftware developed Elden Ring. Kadokawa also owns popular franchises such as Re:Zero. Sony has been expanding its entertainment portfolio.

Anthropic releases AI to automate mouse clicks for coders

A 37-year-old software developer, Su Qin, has been fined S$5,000 (approximately Rs 3.26 lakh) by a Singapore court for forging a medical certificate to take nine days of sick leave. Su altered a legitimate document using Photoshop, changing the hospital's name and hospitalization dates to justify her absence from work. Her deception was uncovered by the HR department during her resignation process when a broken QR code on the certificate raised suspicions.
