Dennis G German Systems Analyst, Project Manager internic handle DG12

Extensive experience using XDS (Xerox Data Systems) systems. The architecture of Sigma 6/7/8/9 and 560 systems were 32 bit word based ( sigma 2/3 16 bit). Fixed length instructions, hardware stacks, and general purpose registers (able to be used in fixed, floating and even decimal arithmetic) Using simple register to register instructions ( memory locations 0-15 referred to the general registers) as well as MoveByteString, TranslateandTestByteString and ConvertBySubtraction instructions which operated on strings of arrays of words. Also significant knowledge of IBM 360 CICS architecture which used a byte addressing, variable length instructions and separate floating point registers Spent several years writing and using a cross assembler for the 6502 micro processor.
