Dear Wikipedians,
I've been contributing to Wikipedia since 2010 (intermittently), and donating since 2014. As a student of history and a digital enthusiast, I think the Wikipedia project is the most valuable endeavour humanity has ever undertaken.
My interests
In terms of topics, I am interested in history, political philosophy, technology and society. Recent rabbit-holes have included think tanks, France in the 19th century, Middle Eastern politics in the 20th century, and artificial intelligence. I am liable to editing articles in and around these topics.
My editing
As a copy editor by trade, I also have a slightly OCD compulsion for consistency: within a single Wikipedia page, and between Wikipedia pages. I also think the value of Wikipedia is in the links between articles. Finally, I will also suggest edits where the language is not clear or misleading.
My languages
I am fluent in English and French – and contribute to both English-language and French-language Wikipedia.
