Your nomination of the United Arab Emirates at Wikipedia talk:Vital articles
Before I close the discussion, can you confirm that you did in fact intend to support your own nomination? You didn't list yourself under the supporting !votes when you wrote the nomination, but somebody went and did it for you afterwards. Thanks, Cobblet (talk) 19:06, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Cobblet: Yes, I can confirm that I support my own nomination. Interstellarity (talk) 23:43, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

You moved the disambiguation page with the assertion "The primary topic for this term is Cat.", but a move discussion had reached "no consensus" on such a move, so you should not have moved this without discussion. Please revert your move, and start a discussion as a "requested move" if you wish to suggest a move. I suggest that making this not-uncontroversial move without discussion was an abuse of your page-mover rights. If there was a discussion I've missed seeing, my apologies (but please show me where). Thanks. PamD 16:31, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- My argument in that discussion still holds: although in common conversation "Pussycat" usually means a domestic pet cat, a reader looking up that term in an encyclopedia is more likely to be looking for another sense of the word. PamD 16:33, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- @PamD: Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I forgot to check the talk page for any discussions regarding the page title. I will revert my move. It was a mistake on my part. I try not to abuse the rights I have and always accept advice on what I can do to make better use of the rights I have. If you think I've acted inappropriately, you are welcome to make a complaint at WP:ANI and I'd be willing to explain my actions there although I personally don't see this as necessary. Thanks, Interstellarity (talk) 22:58, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for your prompt action in reverting the move. No harm done except a bit of wasted time, mostly yours. Thanks. PamD 04:54, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

Lady Louise Windsor
Legally, she is Princess Louise of Wessex, style notwithstanding. Her parents chose to have her styled as an earl’s daughter to give her a more normal life but she has exactly the same royal status as her male line cousins. Lady Louise is most appropriate. Bookworm857158367 (talk) 13:22, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Bookworm857158367: Thanks for clarifying. Just a quick question: How is Archie's case different than Lady Louise? Interstellarity (talk) 13:26, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- Archie will legally be Prince Archie of Sussex when Prince Charles becomes king. Right now he is not a prince as the great grandson of a monarch and the son of a younger son of the heir to the throne, but he would be entitled to use one of the Duke of Sussex’s lesser titles as a courtesy title. His parents aren’t using titles for him to give him a normal life. That doesn’t mean he isn’t legally a royal. Bookworm857158367 (talk) 02:37, 22 May 2021 (UTC)

Tip of the Month
This tip is one of the many ways to combat spam on Wikipedia:
- On Wikipedia, articles either meet the General Notability Guideline or not. When you come across a new article, it is extremely important to determine if it is a real article, or just a spam article. Start with a search on Google, for reliable sources, if you get none in return, then look at the article for non-NPOV content, also scan the references section in the article to see what sources it uses, and check the 'other languages' section and Wikidata to see if it is on other Wikipedias. If other Wikipedias have the same content and/or a CSD or AfD tag (WP:AFD) it is likely spam or not notable, so you can then nominate it for deletion to get input, remember that CSD criterion does not always apply to these articles depending on the content/contex. Also remember to check for copyright violations via earwig's
