Look familiar?

@BilCat: Thanks. Reported. btw unlike some reports like ANI, there is no real need to notify suspected sockpuppets of SPI reports. Doing so might alert them to switch accounts again. Jeh (talk) 07:15, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

User:Sky Sports News HQ just showed up today. There aren't enough edits yet for me to be certain it's Dung, but it's worth watching. - BilCat (talk) 14:33, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

@BilCat: & Jeh, it looks like AllNewsKCBS (talk · contribs) is the new name of the day. On the talk page the user wrote "I'm very nervous as my account can be blocked at any time". Hmmm. Yup, guess what that editor is editing...news and N/T stations.Stereorock (talk) 13:03, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
He left a message on my talk page, and it's quite clear from it that it is Dung247. I gave him an answer to what he should do, but I doubt he'll be able to follow it. He has a lot in common with many users we get on WP who seem compulsively obsessive about editing, and aren't willing or able to adapt to collaborative editing and following the MOS. - BilCat (talk) 22:27, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
Add to that an apparent lack of English fluency ("In other says" instead of "In other words", which is a mistake I doubt a native English speaker, even of an English Creole, would make). - BilCat (talk) 10:40, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
Here's yet another one: User:Neverblockingagain. - BilCat (talk) 06:17, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
Yes, just noticed it. I would say the new nickname is optimistic. Jeh (talk) 06:23, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
Far too optimistic. WP:Competence is certainly a problem here, along with a bad case of WP:IDHT. - BilCat (talk) 06:31, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
And WP:NOTHERE. Jeh (talk) 06:37, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
I missed User:BilCatneverstopsblockingme until after it was blocked. Talk about clueless!   Facepalm - BilCat (talk) 06:08, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
There's really not much WP can do about a serial block abuser aside from an IP block, and that only if they keep using the same narrow range of IPs. It's too bad they can't put semi-protection on all articles in the radio and tv stations categories. But dang, that'd be a very broad brush. Jeh (talk) 23:01, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
Here's your latest chance to see a sock: User:Theaccountwatchneverstopsblocking. Stereorock (talk) 18:05, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
And the obsessive never stop socking! Thanks. At least my name wasn't in this one. :) - BilCat (talk) 18:09, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
I'm kinda busy with life through this weekend so won't have time to do much with this. But if no one else has asked for greater admin action by Tuesday or so I'll ask what can be done. Jeh (talk) 14:17, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
Don't worry, we'll keep an eye on them. That one has been blocked already anyway. - BilCat (talk) 17:42, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

Looks like another one User:IwantobelikeGogoDodo.Stereorock (talk) 19:15, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Oh dear!   Facepalm - BilCat (talk) 19:19, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for reporting that one.
Wondering if we shouldn't just get the "slogan" parameter removed from the station template. It's an OR magnet, and at best is very difficult to reference. Jeh (talk) 04:06, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
It's worth bringing up at Template talk:Infobox radio station, and see what happens. - BilCat (talk) 04:26, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

HI

I am new to this wikipedia and i have no idea about this i did because some information was missing for those articles i know many online magazines like reviewboard magazines, smallbizforward and there are many there are many articles to edit because some informations are missing these are online magazines are very useful where i can find good information and edit it here its not for advertising or some links. I support wikipedia and i am not violating any copyrights

Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rajnibhani (talkcontribs) 03:40, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

I repeat: There is nothing to suggest that the "twinklethomas" web site is a reliable source for anything. They don't even credit their authors, nor list their editor(s), so it is impossible to verify their credentials or experience. To me it just looks like a content-and-ad-farm. It doesn't matter that you weren't violating copyright. You can't use Wikipedia to promote such "magazine" sites. Jeh (talk) 05:47, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
