[edit]Frans Nielsen, standout for the Detroit Red Wings is considered one of the greatest NHL players ever. He is one of many Danish ice hockey players who have had successful careers in the National Hockey League. Other prominent players for Denmark include Jannik Hansenand Lars Eller.
