Squawking Georgia

[edit]

I've been unable to find a "Squawking Georgia" species in any bird directory. Is this the correct name, or does such a bird exist?Fconaway 16:59, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect Link?

[edit]

I arrived at this article, from this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_illuminated_manuscripts (not playing with wiki syntax any further) following the 12th Century, Bestiaries and Aviaries section. The link is in the section name. The List is referring to an illuminated book of birds, I think, such as the Aberdeen Bestiary. Not a birdhouse. I cannot be sure though. I know absolutely nothing more on the subject (hence my inquiry ) so I cannot advise. (I'm tired of wiki community politics and have absolutely no intent to participate further - no point in adding a talk page - its a waste of space. Really.) - 208.54.36.168 (talk) 08:28, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The link you took should obviously point to an article named "Aviary (manuscript)" or something similar, but I can't find an appropriate article, so I removed the link. Don Lammers (talk) 11:47, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for "List of public aviaries" additions

[edit]

I wanted to nominate the Aquarium of the Pacific's Lorikeet Forest for inclusion in the List of public aviaries, but it is unclear what the criteria for inclusion is:

  • What is the minimum enclosure size by floor area or volume?
  • Is there a maximum admission fee or minimum annual visitorship to be considered "public"?
  • Is there a minimum bird population or minimum species diversity to be considered for inclusion?

Some other local (Southern California) aviaries that may warrent inclusion include:
