Correction, Racine has it's own Metropolitan Area according to the BLS.

Yes. Duh. Read the article! The Milwaukee–Racine–Waukesha Combined Statistical Area is made up of the Milwaukee–Waukesha–West Allis Metropolitan Statistical Area (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington and Ozaukee counties) and the Racine Metropolitan Statistical Area! --Orange Mike | Talk 17:20, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NEW Milwaukee CSA!

[edit]

This page needs to be updated There is a new Milwaukee Metro CSA which now includes the following MSAs: Beaver Dam, WI Micropolitan Statistical Area Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area Racine, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area Watertown-Fort Atkinson, WI Micropolitan Statistical Area Whitewater-Elkhorn, WI Micropolitan Statistical Area

The combined estimated population for this new designation of the Milwaukee CSA is now 2,033,139

MSA or CSA?

[edit]

This is a misleading article. It uses the term "metropolitan area," which is the natural language synonym for the Census' MSA, but the text is clearly describing the CSA. 2602:306:BDD0:2A60:3C86:430E:21FC:2E0F (talk) 19:24, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Milwaukee metropolitan area

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Milwaukee metropolitan area's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "QF":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 03:13, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia failed to include the population of Dodge, Racine, Walworth and Jefferson counties when calculating the MSA population. The page included the counties were part of the MSA area but did not add their populations to the total. The total population adding these counties would be about 2,033,000 million people. This page pops up when you search Milwaukee MSA area and I don’t like it when I true information is being spread to people from a trustworthy website.
