Gyroball. Currently I'm trying to interpret Japanese wikipedia and reference, but it is not very easy to understand, honestly I am still confused.

As I understand, most likely it is a kind of fastball, and "No curve slider", so very likely it is not breaking ball at all as long as you adapt Tezuka's opinion. According to him, there is two different type gyroballs, two-seam gyroball and four seam gyroball.

On the other hand, looks like the other author, Himeno, he thinks there may be four different gyroballs as well as two-seam and four-seam.

  • rising gyroball - This is same as Tezuka's (four-seam?) jyroball. Is it so-called rising fast ball?
  • slider gyroball
  • shuuto gyroball
  • sinking gyroball - It includes Daisuke Matsuzaka's sinking slider, probably it is a kind of two-seam gyroball as well.

One more thing. Both gyroball can make not only speed illusion (or curve as well), but also course illusion.
