You will recognise me by my signature, 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrentFaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦, for which there are historical reasons too dull to go into here.
Started adding serious contributions here in March/April 2006, probably out of the same "frustration" that everyone had when I didn't find the things I was looking for. So it seemed to me that adding good information was worthwhile when I had researched it.
The first serious page I created was Tide Mills, East Sussex after a visit there. The place fascinated me. What became increasingly fascinating was how the research led into all sorts of odd corners of Victorian England and suffragists and suffragettes. It also led into naval aviation. So I was hooked. The more so since the area I was researching had very little, or nothing here.
Made a few mistakes and am still making new ones. I have a reputation for typos, even with a spill-chuck.
I am not now, have never been, and do not wish to be an administrator here. I have set out my rationale in this short set of thoughts. Sufficient people have suggested I move towards the role for me to set this out here. Discuss it with me with pleasure, but I doubt you will convince me.
My other half sometimes edits from this IP address, which varies from time to time, such is the fun of using the same ISP and router :). We share some interests and our edits may overlap or collaborate at times. Checkuser may thus appear to reveal sockness, which is absolutely not present.

Thanks for taking OlifanofmrTennant under your wing and working with her. There have been some mistakes made that, while watching from the wings, I see as primarily inexperience combined with overeagerness. As things imploded for her in various areas, I think you've done a good job of balancing an understanding view with showing proper steps in the process. Hopefully, she'll stick around and grow into a useful contributor to the project. Thanks for your efforts! ButlerBlog (talk) 13:37, 4 September 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for the correction. It happens to be that my institution is doing a write-up on our school and the founder Mrs. Kehinde Nwani and most of her works are on the net. I know it is a copyright violation as you have stated it but I didn't think in that direction in the first place being that most of what was written about her where interviews conducted with her. I will go on and interview my boss to get better information for the purpose of this write-up and others which will come up in the future. once again, I thank you for the correction. God bless you.
