Question from HerakliosJulianus (15:08, 17 November 2024)
[edit]Hi, I'd want to switch mentors to someone with experience writing and editing battle and war-related Wikipedia pages. I'm especially interested about the best ways to write and organize a Wikipedia article about a historical war or military engagement. Would you kindly pair me with a mentor with experience in military history?
Thank you! --HerakliosJulianus (talk) 15:08, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, if you have any specific mentor in mind, you may ask them personally. I can’t reassign you, but they can “adopt” you. Looking at the list of mentors (SPECIAL:ManageMentors), I can see User:Jenhawk777 is interested in history, but your free to browse the list yourself. Lordseriouspig 09:59, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- For history, I recommend User talk:AirshipJungleman29, Gog the Mild, Mike Christie, and A. Parrot as among the best. I am also happy to help. Jenhawk777 (talk) 19:51, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
Question from Bo.gusman.izzonisway (11:18, 18 November 2024)
[edit]Hey Lordseriouspig! Thank you for being my mentor. I signed up because I was reading the wikipedia entry on James Purdon Martin and I saw that the link to Majorie Ada Blandy is red - so I thought I might minimally create that page. (Core biographical data is online across various references - such as in biographies of Martin himself; but also I like the book Women as Army Surgeons by F. Murray, for example.) Should I just go ahead and try it? cheers, Bo --Bo.gusman.izzonisway (talk) 11:18, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Absolutely! I would recommend reading WP:YOURFIRSTARTICLE for more information. It explains how to properly write an article and submit it for review. Remember to be bold, and good luck! Lordseriouspig 20:41, 18 November 2024 (UTC)

Thanks for your contributions to ARKA QSAR. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. WikiMoob (talk) 12:05, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know why I got this talk page message lmao. I didn't create this page Lordseriouspig 20:05, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- I also did not create this page. But I moved it to Drafmove. But this page has been transferred to mianspace pr without any reason, can you say something about it. Please give me feedback if you can help me to move back to Draft. @Kunalroyindia: [1] WikiMoob (talk) 06:09, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, if it’s not a problem, can you ask them on their talk page. It could probably stay in the mainspace with those tags, as is improved a bit and has sources. Thanks. Lordseriouspig 11:15, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
