The result of the debate was massive consensus to delete. Kimchi.sg 13:07, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, we knew it was coming. It's little more than a social networking chat room, and it was a big target in the Esperanza MFD. It needs to go. I also propose every single archive, there are too many to list. To see a very detailed consensus voting and lots of good ideas, check out Wikipedia:Esperanza/Overhaul/Coffee Lounge. And, if anyone cares, I am an Esperanzian and fully support the deletion. DoomsDay349 07:01, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Delete per emerging consensus at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Overhaul/Coffee Lounge. It'll be good once we get Esperanza more tightly focused on its mission. --Cyde Weys 07:12, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Strong delete per my comments at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Overhaul/Coffee Lounge. --May the Force be with you! Shreshth91 07:19, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Delete- Just delete the damn thing.--SUITWhat!? 42 07:21, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Burn it, salt it, and poison the coffee Seriously, this is very positive step that Esperanza members have nominated this themselves. I think you just bought Esperanza some slack, but more is expected. —Doug Bell talk•contrib 07:22, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you. The slack is appreciated. Definitely more is coming...see Wikipedia:Esperanza/Overhaul for more info. DoomsDay349 07:26, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Please remain reasonable ... the Esperanzians are giving something up here, and we really don't want to be poisoning anyone. --Cyde Weys 08:13, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Oh please tell me I'm just missing the sarcasm or something in your response here. You aren't seriously making a complaint about my comment are you? —Doug Bell talk•contrib 10:21, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

- Delete it. I hope that Esperanza heeds this deletion (presuming that is the result) and does not attempt to recreate/replace it under a new guise, as it would seem some would like to do at Wikipedia talk:Esperanza.--cj | talk 09:38, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
