Andrew Lang
Andrew Lang (31a Marto 1844 – 20a Julio 1912) estis skota poeto, novelisto, literatura kritikisto, kaj kontribuanto al la fako de antropologio. Biografio

Li estis la plej aĝa el ok gefiloj de John Lang, la urba pastro de Selkirk, kaj lia edzino Jane Plenderleath Sellar, nome filino de Patrick Sellar, je la servo de la unua duko de Sutherland. La 17a de aprilo 1875 li edziĝis al Leonora Blanche Alleyne, plej juna filino de C. T. Alleyne de Clifton kaj Barbados.
Li edukiĝis ĉe la Selkirk Grammar School, Loretto kaj Edinburgh Academy de la Universitato St. Andrews kaj ĉe la Balliol College de Oksfordo, kie li finis klasikajn studojn en 1868, kaj poste iĝis membro de Merton College de Oksfordo. Kiel ĵurnalisto, poeto, kritikisto kaj historiisto, li akiris tuj reputacion kiel unu el plej kapablaj verkistoj tiamaj.
