The Kubernetes Operator for Apache Spark ships with a command-line tool called `sparkctl` that offers additional features beyond what `kubectl` is able to do. Documentation on `sparkctl` can be found in [README](../sparkctl/README.md). If you are running the Spark Operator on Google Kubernetes Engine and want to use Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and/or BigQuery for reading/writing data, also refer to the [GCP guide](gcp.md). The Kubernetes Operator for Apache Spark will simply be referred to as the operator for the rest of this guide.
