I like clean code. Not "kinda readable", but actually clean — typed, predictable, avoiding any like I owe it money.
Legacy code is pain. I usually refactor stuff out of spite, even if nobody asked.
I get weirdly happy when a feature turns out nice or when I learn something mid-task.
Then two commits later, I hate myself. Sinatra would say "that's life".
