Bass Product Diffusion Model Bass (1969) uses sales data to assess the market effects of new product introductions. It consists of a simple differential equation that describes the process of how new products get adopted in a population. Three main parameteres:

  • q: coefficient of imitation
  • m: potential pool of adapoters
