Summary of Changes

Hello @ngeorgy, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request significantly enhances the documentation within the artifact package and its concrete implementations for Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and in-memory storage. The changes introduce detailed package-level godoc comments, clarifying the overall purpose and structure of the artifact management service. Additionally, method-level comments have been added or updated to explicitly indicate which methods fulfill the artifact.Service interface, thereby improving code clarity and maintainability for developers interacting with these services.

Highlights

  • Package-level Documentation: Comprehensive godoc comments have been added to the artifact and artifact/gcs packages, clearly outlining their purpose, functionality, and how artifacts are organized.
  • Method Implementation Clarity: Documentation for various methods across artifact/gcs/service.go and artifact/inmemory.go has been updated to explicitly state that they implement the artifact.Service interface, improving readability and understanding of the interface contract.
  • Internal Method and Constructor Documentation: Helper methods and constructors within artifact/inmemory.go, such as InMemoryService, artifactKey.Encode, and artifactKey.Decode, now include godoc comments to explain their roles.

Code Review

This pull request adds helpful documentation to the artifact package and its gcs and inmemory implementations. The new package and function comments improve code clarity. I've suggested a couple of minor wording improvements to the comments for the Versions methods to enhance clarity and consistency across implementations.
