Summary of Changes

Hello @rakyll, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on enhancing the readability and maintainability of the provided Go examples. By refactoring error handling to be more idiomatic and improving context propagation, the changes aim to make the example code easier for developers to understand, reuse, and integrate into their own projects, ultimately improving the overall developer experience when working with these samples.

Highlights

  • Error Handling Refinement: Updated error handling in numerous example files to use a more concise and idiomatic Go style, combining the assignment and check of the err variable into a single if statement.
  • Context Propagation Improvement: Modified the createAgent function in the vertexai example to explicitly accept and propagate a context.Context, aligning with Go best practices for managing request-scoped values and cancellation signals.
  • Minor Formatting Adjustments: Introduced a small formatting change in one example to improve visual clarity.

Code Review

This pull request improves readability across several example files by refactoring error handling to use the idiomatic Go if err := ...; err != nil pattern. This is a welcome improvement, especially since these examples are meant to be copied by developers. The changes also include capitalizing error messages for consistency and, in examples/vertexai/agent.go, correctly propagating the context, which are both good practices.

I've found one significant maintainability issue in examples/vertexai/agent.go where a function name contains a non-ASCII character that looks identical to an ASCII one. I've left specific comments with suggestions to fix it.
