The grass list has been tested in Skurry's recent stream and a couple fixes were made to it. I think it's probably ready for speed runs now.

There's been a grab bag of updates here, including a new UI, but nothing particularly eventful. Mostly just polishing. I'll be working on getting this release into the mod installer for easier installation.

  • Compass now looks for grass every frame if its enabled, making it feel quite a bit more responsive.
  • Added the DisableCompass configuration option.
  • The grass list that Grassy Knight uses to know what is grass and what is not is now even more accurate! It is reasonably likely that all cuttable grass in the game is in the list and no uncuttable grass is in the list ✨.
  • The compass (even when enabled) is set to start as invisible, so you must hit the hotkey to show it. This'll be reverted in a future release, but while the grass list isn't trustworthy this seems wise.
  • Room grass count is now always visible, instead of sometimes being --, to differentiate between rooms with and without grass that was cut.

Fix false knight & some goodies

  • The status bar now shows the correct numbers immediately upon entry to the false knight room (and likely other rooms).
  • You can now switch between a few different status bar styles with the StatusBarMode configuration option.
  • The under-soul status bar now uses two dashes instead of an em dash. This "fixes" a bug where sometimes the em dash would be rendered incorrectly.

Should work for all the grass in the game. Some UI issues will be worked out in the near future.
