I’m reaching out to inquire about the availability of the Claude 3.5 model by Anthropic for GitHub Copilot Individual subscribers. Currently, it appears that this model is only accessible to enterprise and business-level accounts, but I am very interested in using Claude 3.5 for my personal development projects.

Could you please provide an estimated timeline or any information on when this model might be available to individual users? Additionally, are there any requirements or plans to allow individual developers to test Claude 3.5 in the near future?

Access to the model will roll out progressively over an estimated two-week period to all Copilot plans. This new model will initially be available in Copilot Chat for Visual Studio Code and in immersive chat on the GitHub website.

To know if you or your organization has access to enable Claude 3.5 Sonnet, you can check whether the policy is present at the bottom of your personal Copilot policy settings. If you don't see a policy for Anthropic Claude 3.5 Sonnet for Copilot, you have not yet received access via the rollout.

Please note Claude 3.5 Sonnet is in public preview and subject to change. The "GitHub Pre-release License Terms" apply to your use of this product.

I have enabled Claude 3.5 Sonnet in my settings, but I don't see a Claude 3.5 model that can be selected in immersive chat on the GitHub website or in vscode. Can you tell me what's wrong?

i signed up for Copilot Individual Plan just because of Claude 3.5 model and it is not available. why advertise something that is not widely available yet?!
