My two most favorite languages are Ruby and Go. I like to contribute to projects I use professionally on a daily basis. I have contributed to Rails and done small contributors to Ruby gems and Go packages here and there.

With regard to Go, I'm the creator and maintainer of tools like:

  • Task (Website | GitHub): A build tool / task runner / alternative to Make
  • testfixtures (GitHub): A port of a core Rails feature to Go: the ability prepare a test database with sample data so you can properly write tests for your database-heavy apps
