What is this Python project?

Ozon3 is an open-source Python package to easily obtain real-time, historical, or forecasted air quality data anywhere in the world. Reliable, accurate, and simple. Has 45 stars, 22 forks, 14 contributors, and 3 users so far.

Describe features.

  • Air quality data available for 11,000+ stations, and 1000 cities.
  • Uses the World Air Quality Index's API under the hood, meaning accurate and reliable data.
  • Historical air quality data from 2014 onwards.
  • Real-time air quality data for 15 parameters (updated hourly).
  • 7 and 14-day air quality forecasts for all stations.
  • Completely free and open-source for everyone!

What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones?

Enumerate comparisons.

  • All other air quality data packages are simple wrappers around air quality APIs. Ozon3, by comparison, provides complex methods and combines a lot of data from the AQICN API to provide the perfect interface for python programmers to access air quality data.
  • No other package can provide this quantity of historical data for free.
  • No other package covers this many stations and cities.
  • Tried and tested, and proven to work really well!
