Solving puzzles to move forward was so much fun! And the sudden horror elements genuinely scared me, meow!

my playthrough

(1 edit)

Balancing energy and attack upgrades was really fun, meow!
If I mismanaged my energy, I sometimes couldn’t attack at all and just had to die, though—meow.
The shotgun-like weapon that fires lots of bullets had amazing synergy with damage boosts and felt super strong.
I probably played version 0.9.4.0, but the game crashed while I was playing, meow! (ΦωΦ)

At first, I was totally hooked on collecting ducks and upgrading!
But when I realized there was something hidden in the facility and started exploring, that chilling, spine-tingling fear was intense.
It was so much fun, meow! (=^・ω・^=)

Both the characters and the playable character are incredibly unique!
The movement system using two octopus like tentacles controlled by the gamepad felt very strange, yet intuitive at the same time.
I played before the update, but when I saw that they later added a feature where you get gently patted after failing, I felt how deeply loved this character is.
Instead of lowering the difficulty to deal with the challenging controls, choosing an approach that helps players overcome it by making them feel affection for the character is something I absolutely love!!!!
In short, it was extremely fun, meow! (ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ)

Each stage was incredibly fun because the sprites, the music, and even the direction of the gimmicks were all different every time.
You wrote that this was your first serious platformer, but this is definitely one of my favorite games.
Especially in the later stages, I could feel that you’d grown more accustomed to building levels while I was playing.
One thing I noticed was that using C + down to pick up items felt a bit confusing, and the waiting time for the moving platforms that go up and down was a little long.
My favorite stages were the Pyramid and Heaven, meow! (=^・ω・^=)

I also recorded some gameplay footage, but it was captured from an older version.

It was filled with so many memories that even I felt strangely warm and happy just watching it.
There was cat-sniffing, and even Tom Nook showed up!
I could also sense a kind of determination to create something uniquely your own from here on out. I’m cheering for you, meow! (=^・ω・^=)

This is amazing, meow.
Surviving in that incredibly dangerous pond was so hard, but after dozens of retries, I finally managed to hatch the egg.
The enemy designs are cute, yet still scary in a good way. And seeing my siblings get eaten right in front of me right after talking to them…  (ΦωΦ)

What a lovely piece of artwork!
The world made of paper cutouts felt warm and incredibly cozy, meow! (=^・ω・^=)

It was fascinating and surreal how realistic objects were placed within such an unreal landscape.
The sense of openness when I stepped out from the corridor into the flooded area was incredible, meow!

Moving through a desolate yet beautiful world framed in poetic expression became a truly special experience.

It was shocking that a raw and vivid reality awaited at the end of that abstract and beautiful world, but I’m glad I was able to see this work through to the end, meow!

Such an interesting concept!
Adding mouse controls to a platformer felt fresh and really fun.
It also seems like it would be a great time in local co-op, with one person controlling the character’s movement and the other handling the mouse, meow! (=^・ω・^=)

This game is… unbelievably amazing!

The sparkling ocean, the incredible sense of speed, and the thrill of launching into high jumps off the waves were absolutely irresistible.
It’s become one of my all-time favorite game experiences, meow!

It felt like a game wrapped in a sparkling, shimmering atmosphere!
I’m not very good with bugs, but I could really feel the love for this tiny, microscopic world, so I had such a great time.
And the kitty… so adorable, meow!

What an incredibly cute and lovely game…

The floating sensation when you first leap into the air, discovering things while flying and circling around them, and the way the kitty’s gaze moves — I could feel the care put into every single detail of this world, and it was so much fun to play, meow!

I’ve never tried painting with masking tape in real life, but I was always curious about it, so I’m glad I got to experience it here.

I first learned the rules in Arcade mode, and then it was really fun to create freely in Zen mode, meow!

The atmosphere was calm, but the gameplay was intense and incredibly fun!
The sound design felt really satisfying too.
In the early stages, when there were fewer ingredients, I had time to pour the sauce while adding toppings, but later on my brain got totally overwhelmed. It was hectic, but so much fun, meow! (ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ)

Oh, I see! So it comes from the letter K in the name! Knowing the origin makes me feel more attached to it, and realizing how well thought-out the setting is makes me like it even more!

Thank you! I still play it myself and think it's cute, so I'm happy, meow!

meow~❤

I felt completely immersed in the lovely artwork and was very satisfied.
After finishing the game, I felt like I might have sweet dreams, meow!
If rhythm games let you savor and replay the music in your mind, then games like this are perfect for appreciating lovely art.

I replayed it.
Wow! I had no idea the protagonist had such a reason behind everything.
It was such a passionate story, and I really enjoyed it, meow!

The clay like texture created such a gentle atmosphere that it felt really relaxing.

And the gameplay was very fun too! It was a lovely game experience, meow!

It was really beautiful and so much fun! The difficulty was pretty high, but I took it slow and somehow managed to clear it, meow! (ΦωΦ)

It’s such a mysterious setup bump action in outer space with cars—but the sparkly lights, the player’s face in the top left, and this world all matched together really well.
Ah, and it turns out the version I played was an older one.
Even though it was supposed to be unfinished in that version, I could feel so much passion and had a really great time.
Now there are lots of lines and enemy cars too, so I’ll try playing it again, meow! (=ↀωↀ=)

I think it was probably an older version, but I played it!!!

What changed with each puzzle was different every time, and especially in the later part, the way the world transformed was amazing and really fun.

I didn’t know shaders could be used like this, meow!

Meow meow meow meow! Controlling it with your voice was so fun.
At first, it was hard to connect my voice with jumping, but later on it felt like my brain finally linked voice = jump, and I could jump much more naturally, which was really enjoyable.
I also loved how the stages inside the notebook showed a cat’s big adventure, going from forests to caves to sailing, meow! (ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ)

The cats is so cute!
There were lots of different stages, and the pop-style worldbuilding was really nice.
I especially loved the space station stage.
Sometimes the ball went behind objects and was hard to see, though (haha).
The Jaspar stage was especially difficult, but I managed to clear everything, meow! (=ↀωↀ=)

Wonderful atmosphere!

It was short, but it really stayed with me, meow! (ΦωΦ)

What a cool game with such a stoic and majestic atmosphere!!!
I feel like games with this kind of tone have become rarer lately, but once you play one, the sheer coolness really makes you shiver.
Especially the final boss fight.
The sense of scale combined with the epic music was incredibly fun!!!!!!
I think symphonic metal like Emerald Sword would fit it perfectly too, meow! (ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ)

I replayed and managed to collect everything! I’m so happy, meow!

I liked that there were many different stages, and that you solved them using various kinds of magic.
I was really excited to see what the combined spells would turn into.
The final battle was really cool, meow!

The stretchy dog is so cute! Every stage was full of personality and really great — I had a lot of fun, meow! (=ↀωↀ=)

This was so much fun! (ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ)
The email exchange at the beginning had such a sparkly Y2K vibe and it was great.
The rival band’s songs were cool, and Kandi pop’s music felt fresh and really nice.
It reminded me of Fashionable Witch Love and Berry and Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks, meow.
I also love the names of the Kandi pop members. Is it called Kandi pop because three girls with kanji names that are lovely like candy came together?

It was insanely cute and so much fun! The opening demo made me sad, meow. ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

The combination of creating platforms and the stage design was perfectly balanced and super fun! I couldn’t find the very last secret, but I’m totally satisfied knowing Unyu will somehow make it through the winter.

Ah, I’m so happy you remembered me! Just one day before receiving this reply, I happened to be playing your other two works as well. They were overflowing with wonderful worldbuilding, and I had such a great time!

Treasure hunting on the beach is so much fun! I tend to play with efficiency in mind, and the mix of scoring through various techniques and the danger of being swept away by the waves when you push things to the limit makes for really engaging gameplay. I gave it everything I had and got 20,000 points, meow!

Such a lovely florist experience in a beautiful garden! It was so maze like and complex that I got very lost, but everywhere was beautiful, so even getting lost was fun. It made me feel like when I was little and discovered a huge, sparkling place full of hope. And the concept is wonderful too. It was a great game experience, meow! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

It looks super cute, and the movements are so comical that it’s incredibly fun just to watch! At first, the difficulty felt unbelievably high, but as I kept playing, I started to understand the different behaviors and managed to clear a few stages. After that, I cleared up to 2-7 once each in Practice Mode while using bombs a lot, and when I went back to normal play, I somehow made it to 1-5! Improving feels so rewarding, meow!

The art is absolutely wonderful! And the way the world gradually becomes more intense starting from such a cute setting was really interesting, meow! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
