ノーマン・コーン

ノーマン・コーン（Norman Rufus Colin Cohn、1915年1月12日 - 2007年7月31日）はユダヤ系イギリス人の歴史学者、専門は中世精神史。

経歴

ロンドンのユダヤ系の家庭に生まれる。グレシャム・スクールで教育を受け、さらに1933年から1939年までオックスフォード大学クライスト・チャーチの研究生であった。1939年から6年間は英国陸軍で勤務。第二次世界大戦後、イングランド、スコットランド、アイルランド、アメリカ合衆国、およびカナダの大学で教えた。1966年からサセックス大学の教授となり、同時に集団精神病理学研究センターの所長を務める。その仕事の重要性により、英国学士院特別会員に選ばれた。
