New Amsterdam
New Amsterdam (Belanda: Nieuw Amsterdam) adalah merupakan satu nama penempatan koloni Belanda pada kurun ke-17 di pulau Manhattan selepas membelinya daripada penduduk asli tempatan. Ia akhirnya diserahkan kepada England melalui satu perjanjian. England kemudian menamakan semula New Amsterdam sebagai New York.
