Piper Laurie (nascida Rosetta Jacobs; Detroit, 22 de janeiro de 1932 – Los Angeles, 14 de outubro de 2023)^[1] foi uma atriz de teatro e cinema norte-americana que se destacou ao interpretar Margaret White, a mãe do personagem título do filme Carrie, de 1976, e Catherine Martell, na série Twin Peaks, de 1990. Ao todo foram mais de cem atuações em sua carreira no cinema e na televisão. Foi duas vezes indicada ao Oscar de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante pelos filmes Carrie e Children of a Lesser God e uma vez ao Oscar de Melhor Atriz por The Hustler.
