Theodor Hoffmann

Theodor Hoffmann (February 27, 1935 – November 1, 2018) was an East German Admiral. He was the head of the People's Navy (Volksmarine) and as the last Minister of National Defense of the German Democratic Republic and head of the National People's Army. He was born in Gustävel, Mecklenburg, Germany.

Hoffmann died in Berlin on November 1, 2018 at the age of 82.[1]
