Open Source Python Data Analytics Tools

Apache Spark™ is a unified analytics engine for large-scale data processing. It provides high-level APIs in Scala, Java, Python, and R, and an optimized engine that supports general computation graphs for data analysis. It also supports a rich set of higher-level tools including Spark SQL for SQL and DataFrames, MLlib for machine learning, GraphX for graph processing, and Structured Streaming for stream processing. The SageMaker Spark Container is a Docker image used to run batch data processing workloads on Amazon SageMaker using the Apache Spark framework. The container images in this repository are used to build the pre-built container images that are used when running Spark jobs on Amazon SageMaker using the SageMaker Python SDK. The pre-built images are available in the Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR), and this repository serves as a reference for those wishing to build their own customized Spark containers for use in Amazon SageMaker.

DSTK - DataScience ToolKit is an opensource free software for statistical analysis, data visualization, text analysis, and predictive analytics. Newer version and smaller file size can be found at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dstk3/ It is designed to be straight forward and easy to use, and familar to SPSS user. While JASP offers more statistical features, DSTK tends to be a broad solution workbench, including text analysis and predictive analytics features. Of course you may specify JASP for advanced data editing and RapidMiner for advanced prediction modeling. DSTK is written in C#, Java and Python to interface with R, NLTK, and Weka. It can be expanded with plugins using R Scripts. We have also created plugins for more statistical functions, and Big Data Analytics with Microsoft Azure HDInsights (Spark Server) with Livy. License: R, RStudio, NLTK, SciPy, SKLearn, MatPlotLib, Weka, ... each has their own licenses.
