Open Source BASIC Database Software

A Windows application for connecting to and working with several different database systems, ranging from Microsoft Access to MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite and more, using ODBC drivers. Written in PowerBASIC for Windows 9.

Database Pro has been designed to manage addresses and mailings. For small charities, database fields are provided so that the details of the most recent donation of a supporter can be recorded. However, the columns (fields) can easily modified, added or deleted so that the database can be customised according to your needs. Database Pro is available in file formats for both Excel and OpenOffice. The Excel version is a VBA project and the OpenOffice version uses OOo Basic. Please note that the database does not currently work with LibreOffice due to a couple of bugs in the LibreOffice program.

DynOM (Dynamic Object Managment) is a free open source software for dynamic managment.

Intellect Modeling Kit (IMK) is intended to build knowledge machines (KM) assisting experts on the steps of activity: * Observation; * Producing propositions based on knowledge; * Elimination of impossible propositions; * Selection and verification of the most appropriate propositions; * Memorizing - new knowledge item creation; * Abstraction – building objects representing typical signs of similar objects groups, data mining. KM is not intended to replace human experts, it is built to multiply abilities. Machine should not be responsible for decisions. The IMK is designed to create ready-to-use software applications using simple text files. Any human knowledge can be uploaded to KM by expert not familiar with software coding. Demos present in kit. ModAmp is designed to be a complete modular (plugin) based WAMP (Windows Apache Mysql PHP) application. Features include: Quick deployment of WAMP applications, as well as quick upgrades through 'plug-in' system.

This is an Open Sourced BASIC interpreter environment using PostgreSQL. It is focused on (1) Simple to program, (2) Powerful database statements, (3) UNIX shell friendly, (4) Business focused, (5) "Function" over "speed". This is *not* another VB implementation. Extensive language documentation is available.

Z9basic aims to be a high integrity & performance version of its predecessor bdbbasic. Language is modernized BASIC with screen and PostgreSQL database support. Targeted at Home, SOHO, Small business, Scientific or Engineering users. This project is incomplete and in limbo, due to a general lack of time. Those looking for this type of application functionality are encouraged to look at the bdbbasic project instead, which is complete and functional.
