SETEdit is a friendly text editor. It is a text mode application with windows, buttons, mouse support, etc. The main target of the project are programmers so the editor is mainly oriented to programming.

kodeWeave is a realtime coding playground for HTML, CSS and Javascript. Similar to JSFiddle and JSBin, but kodeWeave was made to work offline but also as a prototyping application to build applications for desktop operating systems while on mobile devices. (PhoneGap Build is recommended for mobile devices) kodeWeave similar to jsfiddle, jsbin, dabblet, liveweave, codepen, cssdeck, cssdesk, tinkerbin, d3 playground, plunker and pastebin, but allows you to export your web app as a desktop and/or chrome application.

Shed is a hex editor written for unix/linux using ncurses, with a friendly pico-style interface. Shows data in ascii, hex, dec, oct and binary, and allows editing in all of these bases. Features also include searching and dumping.

Mickey is a hex/ascii file viewer and editor that runs on all major operating systems thanks to FLTK.

AG101 is a java-based visual XSL editor/debugger built on the Pollo XML editor (pollo.sourceforge.net). It has extensions to a regular expression library. It also has the ability to pipe XSL transforms one to another and store and reuse those pipes.

Protoeditor is a small KDE text editor developed for debugging scripts interactively. The goal is to provide a simple editor supporting a variety of debuggers for different languages. Currently, it supports Perl and PHP.
