The project creates a standard for Java implementations of ARM applications. It uses an asynchronous event model with threading that is standard for any board the runs Java on an ARM processor. The set of interfaces, abstract classes, events and enums create a standard that help enforce the write once, run anywhere credo. This will make code more portable and readable. The purpose of this project is to provide a convenient Java implementation for Future Technology Devices International Inc.'s (http://ftdichip.com) FTD2xx library. This library is used to access and control FTDI's USB to serial converter chips via USB.

SiteWhere is an industrial-strength, open-source IoT Application Enablement Platform that facilitates the ingestion, storage, processing, and integration of IoT device data at a massive scale. The platform leverages a microservices architecture that runs on top of cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, Istio, and Kafka in order to scale efficiently to the loads expected in large IoT projects. SiteWhere embraces a distributed architecture that runs on Kubernetes and provides both infrastructures such as highly-available databases and MQTT brokers as well as microservices to facilitate various aspects of IoT project development. The platform is built with a framework approach using clearly defined APIs so that new technologies may easily be integrated as the IoT ecosystem evolves. TINI-Flash provides Flash file system support, class libaries and utilities for the Dallas Semiconductor TINI embedded Java computer. Currently Flash support is provided as FileSystemDriver class (integrtable into SLUSH) and as command line utilities.
